On the 30th November -1st December our talented Triathlon squad travelled to Gosling Creek in Orange to compete at the TRINSW Super Sprint Championships!
Sophie has been awarded the Penrith Valley Sports Foundations (PVSF) Junior Athlete of the Month for November. As a result, she has automatically been nominated for the PVSF Junior Athlete of the Year award which will be announced at an annual awards dinner in September 2020.

The NSW Metropolitan Track Cycling Championships were held last Saturday, 23rd November at Lidcombe Oval. Five Academy Cyclist competed at the event and performed admirably with Samantha Beatty coming home as the NSW Metropolitan Track Champion!
James Hill, our Heartland Motors Lone Star Karate superstar has just returned home from Santiago, Chile where he competed in the Junior Karate World Championships!
What a fantastic way to finish our 2019 Netball program! The final training session last week included two special guests, past academy athletes and talented netballers Matilda McDonnell and Angelina Frketic.
The 2019 NSW U14 Softball State Championships were held last weekend at Kelso Park Panania where six Academy athletes competed for the Cumberland Nepean Softball Associations girls team.
On Sunday 3rd November the 2019 Canoe Slalom State Championships were held at Penrith Whitewater Stadium. Eleven members of our Canoe Slalom Squad attended the event and came home with admirable results.
Rachel Bardney, one of our newest Heartland Motors Lone Star athletes started little athletics at just 3 years old and hasn’t looked back. This year, Rachel was selected to represent the NSW Little Athletics Team to compete at the Australian Little Athletics Championships held in Hobart and was voted to be the NSW Female Team Captain.
On Saturday 26 October, WSAS welcomed it’s newest Athletes to the program at the annual Athlete Induction Day held at Western Sydney University in Kingswood.
