Gordon Allan Sets Sights On Rio Paralympics

Lalor Parks’ Gordon Allan was one of the Western Sydney Academy of Sport’s (WSAS) top cyclists in 2013/2014/2015.

Recently competing in the National Para-Cycling Championships in Adelaide, Gordon was a testament to his hard work and incredible ability, when he won gold medals in both the road race and the time trial events.

Gordon’s training regime consists of a six-day training week covering over 250km on his bike.

With original sights set on the 2022 Tokyo Paralympics, the prospect of securing a spot at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games is now a definite possibility.

We at the Academy would like to wish Gordon the best of luck with all his future endeavours and we are very proud to have had him come through the WSAS ranks.

Well done Gordon!
