Celebrating Girls in Sport 2012

The Celebrating Girls in Sport Festival was held at Parramatta Stadium on Wedensday 18 January 2012. The Academy was pleased to be involved and provided a netball clinic for the participants taking them through some basic skills and drills as well as providing an introduction to the Academy and our programs.

The netball clinic was run by two of our Academy netball athletes - Gabby Cundy and Georgia Marshall who did a fantastic job teaching the girls aged from 10 - 17 years of age.

The event also featured informative talks from high profile women in sport and interactive workshops as well as information on how girls can get involved and stay involved in sport.
