Eight former Academy athletes make State 19/U Netball Squad

With the announcement of the 2012 19/U State Netball Squad recently, the Western Sydney Academy was very pleased to note that 8 out of the 15 athletes selected have come through our Academy program during the past few years.

Congratulations to past Academy athletes Emily Bills, Kristina Brice, Sophie Halpin, Malia Paseka, Kim Ravaillion, Chloe Saville, Amy Sommerville and Courtney Torpy on their selection. We wish them well defending NSW's National Championship title next year.

In addition we would like to congratulate former Academy athlete Zoe Gilbert on her recent selection in the 2012 17/U team.

The 2012 17/U and 19/U National Netball Championships will be held in Launceston, Tasmania from 30 March – 4 April, 2012
