Matisse Shooting for Success

Matisse Letherbarrow is an Academy Netballer who is on the rise to great things, with tremendous skill and some impressive accomplishments already under her belt. At 14, Matisse is one of the youngest Netballers in the squad and tells of how she gains great advice from the older girls at the Academy. “I really enjoy being a part of the Academy because it is very professional and the girls are all really mature”. Matisse has also played in State Age competitions in the representative Netball side for her local district, taking knowledge she gains at the Academy when captaining the side.

On Wednesday 8 June, Matisse, her family and the Academy staff were invited to the office of Mark Taylor MP, the Member of Parliament for Seven Hills, where she was recognised for her outstanding achievements and skill. Matisse was presented with a Community Recognition Statement from the Member for Seven Hills.

The Academy would like to thank Mark Taylor MP for his recognition of one of our outstanding athletes!
