The Western Sydney Academy of Sport provides athlete scholarships in our Canoe Slalom development program, undertaken in collaboration with Paddle Australia and the NSW Institute of Sport.

This Holistic program provides a highly relevant step in the athlete development pathway for young paddlers residing within the western Sydney regional catchment, and presents an opportunity for these athletes to progress to the elite levels of their chosen sport.

Athletes selected into this program will already be receiving high level coaching in the technical components of the sport, and the Academy will be responsible for providing education and personal development components in an integrated manner throughout the program duration.
