Spartan Sports Supporting Western Sydney Talent

One of Australia’s iconic sports ball brands has announced it will support talented young athletes within western Sydney through a new partnership with The Academy. Spartan Sports, whose Head Office is based in Mosman on Sydney’s north shore, have confirmed they will support the Academy through various initiatives to get these great quality sports balls to not only the Academy’s talented athletes but the local clubs and associations in the Western Sydney region.

With an objective of developing sporting goods that contribute to the success of sporting and corporate objectives the Academy felt this new partnership was a great fit.

Spartan Sports will donate 100 sports balls to the Academy’s annual fundraising event ‘A Night With The Stars’ to be held in March 2018. The balls will be used as raffle tickets for the night’s major raffle, a component of the night that generates significant funds for the Academy and contributes to the Academy’s sports development programs.

The Academy’s quality, endorsed programs currently provide for over 150 athletes annually, providing education, sporting and personal development opportunities for the region’s best young athletes. Spartan Sports commitment to the Academy will provide assistance to the squads, granting opportunities to provide for the local clubs and associations that they come from.

Spartan Sports Marketing Manager Rhonda Macadie  said “we are proud to be associated with the Western Sydney Academy of Sport and giving back to young athletes . It is important to recognise all of the hard work which goes on behind the scenes with athlete development and Spartan is happy to help out in any way we can”

Academy CEO Martin Bullock praised Spartan Sports for the strength of their commitment to the Academy’s aspiring young athletes.
