You Can Become An Academy Ambassador!

The Western Sydney Academy of Sport today launched a new Ambassador Program which it is hoping will provide an opportunity for local businesses and individuals to contribute a small level of support for their talented young athletes.

Businesses and individuals can become an Academy Ambassador through an annual contribution of $500.00, which enables them to establish a connection with one of the Academy’s athletes and obtain a personal relationship, supporting them in their journey and progression along the development pathway. Businesses will also receive marketing benefits in return from the Academy.

As a not-for-profit community-based organisation, all revenue generated by the Academy is applied to its program operations which directly benefit over 200 athletes each year. All funds raised from the Academy’s Ambassador level of support will be applied to the provision of specific technical and educational development activities for the athletes.

Academy Ambassadors will join a family of supporting companies and individuals that are recognised across the Academy’s marketing and promotional mediums. Ambassadors will receive invitations to attend all Academy events and functions including Civic Receptions, the Academy’s Athlete Dinner & Awards Night, and the annual celebrity sports dinner ‘A Night With The Stars’.

Academy CEO Martin Bullock commented “we are excited about providing this level of support and engagement with local businesses and individuals, and we hope they will adopt one of our talented young boys and girls and assist them through their journey towards the elite levels of their chosen sport”.
