Para-cyclist and Blacktown local Gordon Allan has been selected to compete at the Tokyo Paralympics!
Gordon was a member of the Academy’s Cycling program from 2013 until 2015.
The talented young athlete broke into the Australian Cycling Team at the age of 19. As the youngest member of the squad, he qualified for the 1km Time Trial at the 2018 Para Track World Championships, where he finished fifth.
Gordon went on to compete at the World Championships in both 2019 and 2020 where he won silver and bronze respectively.
Since 2017, Gordon has won seven gold medals and four silver medals at the Road and Track National Championships.
Gordon will be debuting as a Paralympian this year and we are so excited to follow his journey over the next few months. Congratulations Gordon!
