The RAS (NSW) is a unique body representing the state’s 11 Regional Academies of Sport, which implement quality athlete development programs across the whole of NSW.

The RAS collective coordinates joint initiatives to enhance the individual Academies’ strategic capabilities and operations – fostering a better environment to develop talented young sportspeople.

The ClubsNSW Academy Games was established in 2005 to showcase athletic talent within the Regional Academies of Sport. The Games annually bring together over 800 athletes and 200 staff and stakeholders for high-level competition across six sports disciplines.
