On Sunday 22nd November, seven talented Academy Rowers travelled to Newcastle to compete in the 2020 CDRA Sprint Championships coming home with exceptional results.

Sarah Berechree received three gold medals in the women’s U17 Single Scull, women’s U17 Double Scull and the women’s U17 Coxed Quad Scull.

Olivia Harris received a gold medal in the women’s U17 Coxed Quad Scull and two silvers in the women’s U16 Double Scull and in heat 2 of the women’s U16 Single Scull.

Gauri Kotera received three gold medals in the women’s U17 Double Scull, women’s U16 Single Scull and the women’s U17 Coxed Quad Scull.

Aimee Wagner received three gold medals in the women’s Coxed/Coxless Four, women’s U19 Double Scull and the women’s U19 Single Scull.

Sofia Zamprogno won a gold medal in the women’s U17 Coxed Quad Scull and two silvers in the women’s U16 Double Scull and in heat 1 of the women’s U16 Single Scull.

Hugh Harrold won two gold medals in the men’s U17 Single Scull and the men’s U19 Double Scull.

Alex Vella won a gold medal in the mixed Coxed Four and three silvers in the men’s U16 Single Scull, men’s U16 Coxed Quad Scull and in heat 1 of the men’s U16 Double Scull.
