EVENT PURPOSE
Now in its seventh year, the “A Night With The Stars” Celebrity Sports Dinner has become a landmark event for the Western Sydney region, and particularly the Hills district business community.
The event raises much needed funds for the Western Sydney Academy of Sport, which is a community based not-for-profit organisation that provides critical development programs for the region’s talented young sports people. The funds generated from the event are used to provide more scholarship opportunities for more young athletes in Western Sydney.
The Academy, currently provides over 250 scholarships each year across eight sports disciplines, and included amongst their graduates are 2012 London Olympians Jessica Fox (Canoe/Kayak Slalom) and Amanda Spratt (Cycling).
ENTERTAINMENT
High quality entertainment has been a feature of the “A Night With The Stars” Celebrity Sports Dinner courtesy of Sony. Past performers have included Samantha Jade, Jack Vidgen, Timomatic, Mark Vincent, Nathaniel Willemse and Justice Crew. The 2016 dinner promises to showcase more sensational talent.
GUEST SPEAKERS
A celebrity sports star panel will be quizzed on pertinent sports matters in the Bar Stool Banter segment of the event to be hosted by MC and Foxtel Sports Presenter Matt Russell. The 2014 event was fortunate to have Lyall Gorman, Executive Chairman of the Western Sydney Wanderers, Jessica Fox, Olympic Silver Medallist and current World Champion in Canoe/Kayak – Slalom, Ellie Cole Swimming Paralympian and cyclist Bradley McGee as part of the panel. Past events have featured sporting legends such as Liz Ellis, Phil Gould and Ricky Stuart and 2016 promises to be the best yet!
FUNDRAISING
“A Night With The Stars” has been very successful in raising much needed funds for the Academy’s young Western Sydney athletes. A major auction featuring many unique experiences will be held, as well as some fascinating silent auction items and a major raffle featuring sensational prizes that will provide something interesting for everyone!

Table of 10 including meals, beverages, entertainment and a suite of marketing benefits for only $1,500. Individual tickets are available for $160 each.
