GOLF PROGRAM

The Western Sydney Academy of Sport (WSAS) Golf Program is delivered in strategic partnership with Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG), Golf NSW, and the Regional Academies of Sport Inc (RASi) network.

The program supports the development of emerging talented golfers aged 12–17 years, delivering structured coaching, sport science, education and competition exposure. It is an endorsed step within the Golf NSW / JNJG Talent Pathway and aligns with the Australian Sports Commission’s FTEM development framework for junior athletes.

Through localised delivery, the program aims to foster growth in athlete capability and readiness for higher-level representation in state or national golf programs.

  • Provide technical and tactical golf development in line with JNJG curriculum guidelines.
  • Facilitate athlete progression into the JNJG Development Pathway and Golf NSW High Performance programs.
  • Deliver exposure to high-quality coaching and performance services, including sport science and personal development.

(Athletes outside this range may be considered for a B-Squad or via agreement between WSAS and JNJG.)
